Happy Monday! I have a brand new page to share with you that I created for Bree's Be Inspired class over at Scrapfreak.com. The class runs throughout the month of May and provides creative prompts based on things we may not necessarily think about when searching for inspiration. There are lots of wonderful, creative prompts to get your creativity flowing Go check it out!
My prompt was to find inspiration from a blog that I love. I chose to use Leigh-Ann Keffer's Freckled Nest blog (www.frecklednest.com) for inspiration on this layout. Here is my page:
I incorporated many elements from the blog including visual elements and elements taken from the general theme of the blog. For a complete description of how I interpreted the FN blog, go check out the class forum here (you may have to register for Scrapfreak to have access).
Each of the small photos highlights a few of my vintage collections which including brooches, cards, luggage, buttons and my beloved Lu-Ray dishes. I edited all of the photos to give them a vintage/aged feel. Here are larger versions of the images placed into Kitschy Digitals vintage cabinet cards.
I REALLY wish I had these cards when I created the page. Oh well, guess I'll have to make a Vintage Love Part 2 page and highlight some of my other collections. I'll be back tomorrow with some more pages from my art journal :)
