PS. Don’t forget to check out the new items in the Green Horned Unicorn Shop!
For this weeks Finspo, I thought I'd continue with the magazine theme I've carried throughout the week. However, instead of showing images of magazines and what not, I decided pull some tutorials from my bookmarks list and share them with you instead. Hopefully these projects will inspire you to get crafty and make green-friendly crafts with your old magazine stash!
Head over to Abstract Octopus Attack's Flicker page to find out how to make this completely awesome box.

The weekend is upon us! I’m looking forward to some relaxing, a little pool time, a World Cup party, scrapbooking with friends (meeting some new friends), and spending time with my man! Not too shabby of a weekend lineup, eh?

Next week, look for a full line up of posts here at GHU! Yup, five days of blog posts! My poor little blog is feeling neglected, so I’ve decided to give it some much deserved attention. Happy weekend :)
Looking back through my blog posts, it seems like it's been quite a while since i've put up a Finspo post. Since April to be exact. It's amazing how time flies by. Here is some long overdue eye-candy to inspire you for the weekend!
My sister, niece and nephew all arrived yesterday as planned so our weekend will be filled with a Diamondbacks baseball game, a pool party and barbeque, and probably even more swimming and fun times. I can't wait!! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend :)

On a random note, it was kind of fun to log in to 2P's last night and see this project in the Top 3 By Views, By Bookmarks, and By Votes. That doesn't happen every day. Made me smile :)
Love notes and some signs of love (be sure to scroll clear to the end of the post to see a special love note of my very own).

And lastly, I thought I'd share a personal love note I recently received.
A few weeks back I was quite sick and missed a few days of work. On the first day, Nate kissed me goodbye before he left for the office and then sent me a sweet text message to wake up to later in the morning. Much later in the day, I managed to climb out of bed and walk into our studio. Lying on my computer was this note. The sheep is an inside joke of ours, but, for me, it made the note all the more special. Nate is a little embarrassed at the sheep drawing (that looks more like a bear) and wanted to recreate the note before I posted it. Considering it was drawn on a scrap of paper, with a random smashed-up Sharpie he found on my desk at 6:45 in the morning, I think it's nothing more than perfect and I'll keep it forever. Simple and sweet :)
Have a (ahem) LOVEly Valentine's Day Weekend :)
