FENICKS | This is a drawing my Kindergarten niece made about her upcoming visit to see her "ant" (me) in "Fenicks" (Phoenix), LOL. I love the phonetic spelling which isn't bad for a 5 year old! Her drawing of our pool is quite accurate too, with the cactus & palm trees along side it. My sister sent me this image when she found the artwork in Kylee's backpack. It was, hands down, the best text I received all month!

While Nate was away on a week-long work trip, I came down with a bug that kept me in bed for two days straight. Fortunately for me, the Bugsy, Baxter & Shawna kept me company and provided lots of cuddles. It was the perfect medicine!

While Nate was away in Houston for work, I tested out a few recipes. Inspired by the rhubarb I found at the market, I baked rhubarb-raspberry mini-pies. For dinner I cooked Garlic Sesame Soba Noodles. Both were very tasty & will be made again. This time for Nate too!
